That night we went out with some of Scott's friends and saw "Pride and Glory" at Studio Movie Grill in Addison. Typical good cop vs. dirty cop kinda movie. Eh. It was ok. Gave us a chance to get out of the house, if nothing else. We sat in a table in the back. I BARELY fit between the table and the booth. That's not embarassing or anything, lol.
Saturday was Baby basics and Infant CPR. Scott missed his Tech game in order to attend. Which was fine, because he Tivoed it. Um, well, he thought. I watched him set the Tivo. I don't know what happened. But we got home. He got set to watch. And there was nothing of college football notation there. Opps. I understand. I'd be pissed if my Office or The Soup didn't record while I was away playing with dolls and watching cheesey videos. But I saved some money. Some of the things I bought and used when Trenton was a baby are apparently no longer recommended for kids. Good to know. Saved me some $$$ which is always good.
As the baby countdown continues to tick away, I try to spend time with Trenton doing fun things. Little things, but stuff he enjoys because when his brother gets here, I think he's going to be deflated at the amount of attention NOT focused on him. He's a born rockstar. He loves attention and people love to give it to him. But he's never had to compete for it. May shake up his little world a bit. So anyway, when he got home from his Daddy's last night, I thought it would be fun to make pumpkin cookies. We only had an hour before bedtime, so time was limited. Actually, we played with multi-color glowsticks I found in the dollar aisle at Target at first, which he used as glowing swords and x-man claws, THEN we made cookies. It was fun. And those damn things were addicting. I still don't have a good camera, but I took some pics with my phone. Note to self... Buy a new friggin' camera!!
