All I know is my gut says maybe...

I love Futurama. Genius. Which is where that title came from. It really has nothing to do with this post. ::Pause:: It's my blog and I'll do what I want. Use your relevant titles all you want, I refuse to conform to your logic.

:)

We're doing our hospital tour at Baylor Frisco tomorrow. I'm so excited!! I've heard awesome things about this hospital and how nice it is and how wonderful the nurses are. With my OB, I get to choose between Presby Plano and Baylor Frisco. I got to sample Presby with my earlier hospital stay, and while it was great and my overnight nurse was AWESOME, I love the Baylor system and the perks at Frisco are stellar. It's very hotel-esque with their flat screen TV's and huge suites. Plus all their classes are free if you're registered there. We're going to do birthing classes (I need Scott to be prepared for this madness), baby care classes (I need him to be prepared for that madness, too, and I could use some brushing up on baby stuff) and I am going to put Trenton in the sibling class. Hurray!!

But my to-do list keeps growing. We have no nursey, yet. No furniture, no layette, no nothing, lol. We also need to pick a pediatrician, clean out the room that will be our nursery, get rid of the HIDEOUS fan in there and replace with something decent, convert our dining room to a playroom, figure out a good "big brother" gift for T-man so he doesn't feel left out when the day o' expulsion comes... plus a million other things that I don't want to think about at the moment. Uggg.

I keep hearing the name we picked out, too, and it makes me giggle. I'm glad we're keeping it to ourselves, too. My girlfriend Julie (who's having a boy, too!!! Hurray!!) told people and even though the names she had picked out are adorable, you can't please everyone. People expressed how they felt about them. And they felt negatively. And she didn't kill them. That is how she and I differ. Because I don't care who you are or if we're related, I'll tell you to f--- off any day, time or place. Anyway, it's harder to tell someone you don't like what they've named their kid when a pink, wrinkly baby face is attached to the name. I like it. And Scott likes it. That's what matters. Trenton doesn't like it, but 2 outta 3 isn't bad.

I got a text from my exhusband, Brad, over the weekend while Trenton was staying with him. Apparently, Trenton told him, that he wanted Scott and I to name the baby "Brad". ::Awkward Pause:: Yeeeaaaahhh...

Can you imagine?! LOL!

Trenton was asking the other day who would be "the new baby's grandma and grandpa". I told him that his Nana and Popaw would also be his brother's Nana and Popaw. That didn't sit all that well with him. He didn't believe me. He actually argued with me. Then sat silently in the backseat. Pouting. Should make things more interesting. :)
