I'm not old, but I'm getting a whole lot older every day...

Yesterday, I met up with a friend of mine and her 2 little boys. We went to high school together NOT TOO LONG AGO (that was to make us feel young and vibrant, Steph, lol). I genuinely had a great time. Her kids are SO cute and full of life. I'd forgotten what it was like to be around a toddler. They are so amazingly smart and the little things intrigue them. It's so fun to watch. They have such strong personalities. It's so amazing to see someone so small have such strong opinions! I couldn't tell you how many times I laughed yesterday morning. Landry is 2 and I'm fairly certain he's going to be famous someday. He kept telling me "no pictures!", like I was a tabloid photographer. It was adorable. And both of the kids did really great! No crying or fit throwing!! It went better than I expected it to. I haven't even gotten through a quarter of the pictures, but I wanted to post some of MY personal favorites, thus far.









Last night, the boys were with Nana and Popaw, so Scott and I took the opportunity to go out to dinner (yummy sushi at Japan House) and then we settled in for a rainy night movie. Gran Torino. Great movie. I highly recommend it. I didn't expect to laugh as much as I did. I LOVE Clint Eastwood in this movie. Clint Eastwood IS this movie. I told Scott that I want a Clint Eastwood of my very own. I'm crossing my fingers for Christmas... :).
