Holy Crazy Christmas time!!
Let me start by saying this... it's truly astounding how different my children are from each other. Trenton is the ever social, will talk to anyone, knows no strangers kinda kid. Carter... well... Carter is the opposite. It takes him awhile to warm up to people. He's very cautious and very suspicious of people he doesn't see regularly. It's just how he is. He is all smiles and giggles around Mommy, Daddy and Bubba. And now, he's used to Nana and Popaw, although that took some time.
So you can imagine how taking him to the Stonebriar Mall and throwing him in Santa's, some stange old man, lap went.
He was great... while we stood in line. So I took some pictures then, knowing Carter'd be redfaced and angry when we left, lol.
Quietly suspicious, but just fine until I put him down with Mr. Kringle. Oh.My.Screams. Screams echoing off the big cavernous area of the mall. Holy Moly. Trenton grew weary of taking picture after picture to try to get a non-crying shot. We didn't even try to make him smile. We were just trying to get him between sobs. It didn't happen.
This was seriously the best picture we could get. Poor Santa. I hope they pay him well. Carter wanted his Mommy and that was it. But don't they look adorable in their matching sweaters?
