Carter's 3rd Birthday Party!

I went with a Dr. Seuss theme for C man's party.  He watches "The Cat in the Hat knows a lot about that" all the time.  That's his favorite show right now.  Yay PBS, lol.  Anyway, it made it fun to come up with decorations. 



I had Green Eggs & Ham and One Fish, Two Fish {which were 2 different kinds of goldfish crackers} and Red Fish and Blue Fish speak for themselves I think.

 I had several things to keep the kids busy.  Chalk art drawing, little bouncy house, and a bubble station {which was perfect since it was so windy}...

 ...and, of course, the train.  Would you, could you, on a train?  Yes, it turns out the answer is yes.   

Fun was had by all, I think.  Everyone seemed to enjoy the train and the weather.

Carter, apparently, requested some goldfish and when he was handed a plate, refused it.  He then took the entire fish bowl of goldfish and sat down and began eating it like a bowl of cereal.  I only caught the end of this spectacle.  Little toot.

 Post party, we went home and opened presents.  Holy cow.  Carter was so excited by EVERYTHING.  Everything was his favorite new toy.  He was overjoyed.  Still is, as a matter of fact, days later.  He wanted to stop everything each time he opened a gift and play with it immediately.  :) 

It was a good time.  I enjoyed myself.  I like having an excuse to see my friends and their little 'uns.  Thanks to everyone who came out!  I hope everyone had fun.  :)
